Cheers to the Rosebery

The Lord Rosebery, restored frontage

The restored brickwork, masonry and windows of this building at 85-87 Westborough in Scarborough are superb. It's not everyone's cup of tea that a drinking establishment opens at 8am but cheers to Wetherspoons for maintaining this heritage. The building, once the HQ of Scarborough’s Liberals, was opened by Lord Rosebery in 1895. I bought a cooker from here when it was owned by Scarborough Industrial Co-operative Society.
